Another year...

Koniec tego roku, poza zwyczajowym zakończeniem danej cyfry w kalendarzach zwiastuje nam również czas na 100 edycje Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego, który zatoczył pełne koło i znów wylądował w rękach Inkuba.  Temat jaki zamknie nam pełna setkę brzmi: Next big thing Więc to czas aby posnuć nieco planów i w myślach naszkicować sobie jakieś noworoczne postanowienia. Rok 2022 nie był łaskawy dla mojego hobby - bardzo dużo działo się w moim "normalnym" życiu - za to trzeba powiedzieć, że większość tych zmian była bardzo pozytywna 🙂 Nowy rok przynosi też nowe możliwości - następną wielką rzeczą w moim hobbystycznym życiu będzie przebudowa piwnicy na przysłowiowy nerd cave. Planuje na stałe mieć gotowy stół do rozgrywek w Warhammer 40k oraz Warheima; stałe miejsce dla drukarki 3D i innych bardziej śmierdzących zabawek modelarskich i być może nawet jakiś kącik do grania w RPG - wszystko tak aby jak najłatwiej pogodzić życie rodzinne z bitewniakowym szaleństwem.  Wszystko oczywiście pod warunkiem że upchnę tam jeszcze regał na domowe przetwory oraz ozdoby choinkowe. Jednym słowem w 2023 planuje zostać Piwniczakiem 🙂 Drugą wielką rzeczą jaka chodzi mi po głowie jest wystartowanie z własnym Patronatem z modelami do druku. Czas użyć umiejętności których na co dzień używam w pracy na rzecz hobby :)  To śmiałe i trudne przedsięwzięcie ale wizja tego jak miałoby to wyglądać  w ostatnich dniach coraz bardziej się krystalizuje. To takie dwie największe rzeczy w najbliższym czasie :)

The end of this year, in addition to the usual end of a given number in the calendars, also heralds the time for the 100th edition of the Figurine Blog Carnival, which has come full circle and again landed in the hands of Inkuba. The theme that will close the full hundred is: Next big thing So it's time to make some plans and mentally sketch out some New Year's resolutions. The year 2022 was not kind to my hobby - a lot was going on in my "normal" life - but it must be said that most of these changes were very positive 🙂 The new year also brings new opportunities - the next big thing in my hobby life will be rebuilding the basement into the proverbial nerd cave. I plan to have a table ready for Warhammer 40k and Warheim games permanently; a permanent place for a 3D printer and other smellier modeling toys, and perhaps even a corner for playing RPGs - all this to make it as easy as possible to reconcile family life with battle madness. Everything, of course, provided that I put a shelf for homemade preserves and Christmas tree decorations there. The second big thing on my mind is starting my own Patronage with models for printing. It's time to use the skills that I use every day at work for my hobby :) It's a bold and difficult undertaking, but the vision of what it would look like has been crystallizing in recent days. These are the two biggest things in the near future :)

What if..

Ostatni dzień miesiąca to naturalny czas na post w ramach Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego. Tematem 99 edycji zaproponowanym przez Gonzo, autora bloga Black Grom Studio jest odpowiedź na frapujące pytanie:  Jeśli nie ludziki, to co? Na pewno musiałbym znaleźć inne pochłaniające hobby. Zapewne padło by na któreś z tych pobocznych pasji które mocno wkradają się bocznymi drzwiami aby ukraść cenny czas który można poświęcić na malowania plastikowych żołnierzyków.  Grałbym więcej w gry komputerowe - pewnie tak, choć jako osoba pracująca przy monitorze i w pewien sposób związana z grami zawodowo, nie poświęciłbym się temu tak mocno. Pewnie nie zapełniłoby to całej luki. Grałbym więcej w RPG - pewnie tak - choć jak ten blog stary wciąż obiecuje sobie więcej grać i wciąż nie wychodzi, wiec nie ma pewności czy brak "ludzików" coś by zmienił. Ale co ze zbieractwem, kolekcjonerskim aspektem tego hobby  najlepiej połączonym z budowaniem? Tak miałbym jeszcze większego fioła na punkcie LEGO niż mam :) stosy modeli czekających na pomalowanie zastąpiłbym stosami zestawów klocków czekających na swoją kolej - tak to jest najbardziej prawdopodobny scenariusz. Zwłaszcza, że nawet teraz miłość do klocków mam dosłownie wypisaną na skórze :) BTW. jakby ktoś chciał się pozbyć tego zestawu- niech da znać. Błagam! Odkąd sięgam pamięciom pragnąłem tego zestawu.

The last day of the month is a natural time to post as part of the Figurine Blog Carnival. The theme of the 99th edition proposed by Gonzo, the author of the Black Grom Studio blog, is the answer to the intriguing question: If not plastic men, then what? I would definitely have to find another absorbing hobby. It would probably fall on one of those side passions that sneak in through the side door to steal valuable time that can be spent on painting plastic toy soldiers. I would play more computer games - probably yes, although as a person working at the monitor and in some way related to games professionally, I would not devote myself to it so much. It probably wouldn't fill the gap. I would play more RPGs - probably yes - although this old blog keeps promising itself to play more and still doesn't come out, so I'm not sure if the lack of "plastic men" would change anything. But what about gathering, the collecting aspect of the hobby best combined with building? Yes, I would be even crazier about LEGO than I am :) I would replace the piles of models waiting to be painted with piles of sets of bricks waiting for their turn - this is the most likely scenario. Especially since even now my love for bricks is literally written on my skin :) BTW. If anyone wants to get rid of this kit, let me know. I beg! I've wanted this set for as long as I can remember.

Koniec miesiąca oznacza niechybnie porę na wpis w ramach Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego. I choć ostatnio nie mam sukcesów w blogowaniu to w tej inicjatywie bardzo chce brać udział.  Koyoth na swoim blogu Shadow Grey wybrał temat na wrzesień a brzmi on: Bohater drugiego planu Postanowiłem, że to świetna okazja na pomalowanie muzyka dla mojej Załogi Zielonoskórych Kaprów.  Bohater drugiego planu zapewniający podkład muzyczny do grabieży, walk, wiosłowania i wszelakich innych goblińsko-pirackich aktywności. A drugi gobiln? Załapał się przy okazji pod pędzel :)  Mam nadzieje, że modele się wam podobają i do zobaczenia najpóźniej na następnej edycji Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego

Dzień trzeci wspominek z wyzwań w którym nie wziąłem udziału (poza jednym).  Dziś bez przesadnych wstępów: Trzeciego dnia 30-dniowych wyzwań odpowiadaliśmy na następujące pytania: - WFRP. Ulubiona profesja? - Figurkowe. Twoje ulubione uniwersum? - Fantastyczne. Ulubiona książka fantastyczna (audiobook) przeczytana (wysłuchany) w ciągu ostatnich dwóch lat? WFRP - Wspominałem, że należy bardziej do obozu D&D oraz bardziej mistrzów gry niż graczy ale jeśli miałbym wybrać ulubiona profesje do prawdopodobnie byłby to duchowny/fanatyk religijny. Sprawia mi jakąś perwersyjną przyjemność odgrywanie taki postaci - może lepiej nie wiedzieć dlaczego :) Figurkowe - Tutaj Warhammer 40k musi zatriumfować - lubie ten dziwaczny groteskowy klimat. Pełen mroku świat gdzie nie praktycznie nie ma nadziei dla ludzkości a mimo to nikt nie ma zamiaru się poddać. Gdzie herosi próbują zawrócić nurt przeznaczenia tak naprawdę będąc tylko pionkami w rozgrywce przedwiecznych bogów chaosu.  A no i miecze łańcuchowe. Brrrrr!!!! Fantastyczne:  Spojrzenie na wpis z przed trzech lat - wciąż jestem zadowolony z poleceń jakie tam zawarłem - zerknijcie tutaj - może coś wam przypadnie do gustu. Co bym wybrał dziś?  Ostanie dwa lata nie były super pod względem czytania fantastyki. Ciągnęło mnie raczej w inne rejony a to co czytałem z fantastyki często okazywało się niezbyt dobre i niekoniecznie warte polecenia.  Za to przeczytałem dwie warte polecenia pozycje około fantastyczne i nadrobiłem jeden z tytułów który od dawna czekała na swoją kolej. Lovecraft Przeciw światu przeciw życiu Michel Houellebecq  Nie długi ale moim zdaniem arcyciekawy esej na temat ekscentryka z Providence. Warty z uwagi w równej mierze ze względu na autora jak i temat  Tolkien i pierwsza wojna światowa. U progu Śródziemia Garth John Bardzo ciekawa pozycja mówiąca wiele o mistrzu Tolkienie ale też dająca rozeznanie w kontekście świata w którym się wychował i w którym tworzył. Bez wahania polecam każdemu który choć trochę interesuje się postacią twórcy Śródziemia Człowiek z Wysokiego Zamku Dick Philip K. Pomiędzy wieloma średniej jakości tytułów jakie ostatnio czytałem znalazłem czas na tę od dawna czekająca pozycje. Wiedziałem, że będzie to dobra pozycja. I nie zawiodłem się. Dick jak zawsze mnie zachwycił, dał do myślenia a książka pozostała długo w mojej głowie.  I nie mogę wspomnieć o pięknym wydaniu z ilustracjami  Wojciecha Siudmaka - dodatkowa przyjemność z lektury :) No i to na dziś. Mam nadzieje, że ty nie istniejący czytelniku bawiłeś się dobrze i może sięgniesz po któryś z tytułów.

Day three - memories of the challenges in which I did not take part (except for one). Today without exaggerated introductions: On the third day of the 30-day challenges, we answered the following questions: - WFRP. Favourite profession? - Figurine. Your favourite universe? - Fantastic. Favourite fantasy book (audiobook) read (heard) in the last two years? WFRP - I mentioned that he belongs more to the D&D camp and more game masters than players but if I had to choose my favourite profession it would probably be a clergyman / religious fanatic. It gives me some perverse pleasure to play such a character - maybe it's better not to know why :) Figurine - This is where the Warhammer 40k has to triumph - I like this bizarre grotesque atmosphere. A dark world where there is practically no hope for humanity and yet no one is going to give up. Where heroes try to turn the tide of destiny, they are really only pawns in the game of the ancient gods of chaos. Oh, and chain swords. Brrrrr !!!! Fantastic: A look at the entry from three years ago - I am still satisfied with the instructions I made there - take a look here - maybe you will like something. What would I choose today? The last two years have not been great at reading fantasy. Rather, I was drawn to other regions and what I read from fantasy often turned out to be not very good and not necessarily worth recommending. However, I read two fantastic books worth recommending and made up for one of the titles that had been waiting for its turn for a long time. Lovecraft Against the world against life Michel Houellebecq Not long, but in my opinion extremely interesting essay on the Providence eccentric. Noteworthy for the author as well as the subject Tolkien and the Great War: The Threshold of Middle-earth Garth John A very interesting book that tells a lot about the master of Tolkien, but also gives some insight into the context of the world in which he was brought up and in which he created. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is even a bit interested in the figure of the creator of Middle-earth The Man in the High Castle Dick Philip K. Among the many mid-range titles I read recently, I found time for this long-awaited title. I knew it would be a good position. And I was not disappointed. Dick, as always, delighted me, made me think and the book remained in my head for a long time. And I cannot mention the beautiful edition with illustrations by Wojciech Siudmak - additional pleasure from reading :) And that's for today. The second day of the challenge - I already regret

Drugi dzień reminiscencji po dawnych wyzwaniach. Czas odpowiedzieć na kolejne dwa pytania oraz przejrzeć jak odpowiedź z wyzwania fantastycznego broni się po trzech latach. Tematy drugiego dnia 30-dniowych Wyzwań.  - WFRP. Ulubiona grywalna rasa? - Figurkowe. Ulubiona gra bitewna? - Fantastyczne. Fantasy czy sci-fi, czyli ulubiona dziedzina fantastyki? WFRP - Jak wspominałem wczoraj bardziej jestem mistrzem gry niż graczem. I jak bardzo mam frajdę z wymyślania bohaterów krasnoludzkich sag czy elfickich ballad to gdy już wcielam się w rolę gracza to najczęściej wybieram… człowieka. Sam nie wiem dlaczego - to chyba dlatego, że najbardziej mogę się skupić na historii postaci. I dlatego, że ludzie dla mnie są w swojej istocie zawsze niedoskonali co tworzy dla mnie sytuacje które sprawiają frajdę w odgrywaniu.  Figurkowe: Ulubiona gra bitewna? Tylko dwie - te dwie w które wciąż grywam choć są od siebie diametralnie różne ale sprawiają mi frajdę na inny sposób:  Warheim FS który daje mi okazję przeżyć historię wraz z moja drużyną - każda bitwa pisze jakąś historię a im więcej blizn noszą moi bohaterowie tym lepiej się bawię.  Warhammer 40k - ta grę uwielbiam za jej uniwersum, ten dziwaczny miks gotyckiej estetyki z kompletnym futuryzmem. Choć zasady wielokrotnie mi nie odpowiadają a niektóre decyzje wydawcy doprowadzają mnie do furii to pewnie nie prędko przestanę grać w tę grę Fantastyczne:  Po raz kolejny odpowiedź z przed trzech lat jest wciąż aktualna. Mało tego to jeden z lepszych tekstów jakie popełniłem w trakcie fantastycznego wyzwania (moim zdaniem) Możecie go przeczytać tutaj  Do usłyszenia jutro - choć ponoć nikt tego nie czyta

The second day of reminiscences after old challenges. They are waiting for the next two questions and turn into new instalments for promotions. Topics on the second day of the 30-Day Challenges. - WFRP. Favourite playable race? - Figurine. Favourite battle game? - Fantastic. Fantasy or sci-fi, the favourite field of fantasy? WFRP - As I mentioned yesterday, I am more of a game master than me. I am how much I have fun coming up with the heroes of dwarven sagas or elven ballads when I play the role of answering a question about… human. I don't know why - it's probably because I can give the most of it on the history of the character. 1 day - three post

Trzeci post na blogu jednego dnia - to się jeszcze nie wydarzyło :) Cóż takiego poruszyło moje leniwe ja do spreparowania kolejnego tekstu dziś? Adam Quidamcorvus Stefańczyk - nikt inny - QC przypomniał na Facebooku, że minęło już 3 lata od ostatniego razu gdy wrzesień był 30 dniowym wyzwaniem. Tym samym zachęca on aby odpowiedzieć na pytania z 3 edycji tej zabawy lub przynajmniej je odświeżyć.  Na czym ta zabawa polegała? Przez 30 dni - blogerzy odpowiadali na serię pytań - 30 pytań, 30 wpisów na blogu.  Pierwsza edycja zadawała pytania odnośnie WFRP, druga była związana z grami bitewnymi a trzecia z szeroko pojęta fantastyką. Aktywny udział brałem tylko w trzeciej edycji "Fantastycznym wyzwaniu" i żałowałem, że dwa poprzednie mnie ominęły.  Więc sprowokowany niewinnym szturchnęłam rzucę się na głęboką wodę -  W wrześniu odpowiem na blogu na pytania z dwóch pierwszych edycji oraz zweryfikuje jak 3 lata zmieniły odpowiedzi których udzieliłem w Fantastycznym wyzwaniu.  Pytania na pierwszy dzień były następujące: - WFRP:Jak zacząłem grać w Warhammera? - Figurkowe: Jak zacząłeś grać w gry bitewne lub jak zacząłeś malować modele? - Fantastyczne: Kiedy zainteresowałeś się fantastyką, twoje początki? WFRP: Nie zacząłem tak naprawdę wcale.  Pierwsze moje udane zetknięcie z RPG w świecie młotka miało miejsce gdy już na dobre wsiąkłem w gry bitewne, Warhammera 40k i Warheima. Jednak to nie tak, że gry RPG nie były mi bliskie. Wręcz przeciwnie! Gry te były (i wciąż są) bliskie mojemu sercu.  Zaczęło się to w okolicach końca podstawówki - któryś kolegów z podwórka dostał "Dungeon and Dragons. Grę przygodową" - starter trzecio edycyjnego D&D. Trzeba było zagrać - okazało się, że gra potrzebuje narratora - mistrza gry - jak w dobrej historii zdecydował rzut kostką - i tak przez następne 16 lat prowadziłem sesje RPG regularnie. Z czasem zapuściłem też nosa w inne systemy. Prowadzenie sesji RPG to jedna z rzeczy za która najbardziej tęsknie w "poważnym" życiu trzydziesto kilkulatka - chciałbym obiecać sobie i kilku osobom które dobrnęły do tego fragmentu tekstu, że coś z tym zrobię. Figurkowe: To dość wyraźne wspomnienie - gdzieś w pierwszych latach liceum gdy uskuteczniałem swoje uzależnienie od gry karcianej Magic the Gathering w nieistniejącym już Katowickim Bardzie trafiłem tam na pokaz Mordhiema na wspaniałym wielopoziomowym stole - i to wystarczyło - i choć dopiero na studiach poznałem kogoś kto wkręcił mnie w to hobby na dobrze to ten moment był kluczowy. Co jeszcze ciekawsze po latach zobaczyłem ten cudowny stół raz jeszcze - w sosnowieckim klubie D66 :)  Fantastyczne:  Tutaj nie ma dużych zmian: mój post sprzed trzech lat jak najbardziej aktualny - znajdziecie go tutaj Dajcie znać czy ktoś to czyta, czy rzeczywiście blogo sfera umarła :)

Third blog post one day - that hasn't happened yet :) What was it that moved my lazy self to make another one today? Adam Quidamcorvus Stefańczyk - no one else - QC reminded on Facebook that 3 years have passed since the last time when September was a 30-day challenge. Thus, fun in addition to asking or dismissing the questions from the 3 of this game. What is this fun about? For 30 days - bloggers answered questions - 30 questions, 30 blog entries. The first edition asked questions about the WFRP, the second was available with battle games and the third one with broadly understood fantasy. I only actively participated in the engraved "Fantastic Graphite" and wished I had missed the two previous ones. So, provoked by an innocent, I poked myself into deep water - In response to the questions from the first two editions on the blog, and verify how the 3 years have changed the answers I gave in the fantastic challenge. First day questions: - WFRP: How did I start playing Warhammer? - Figurine: How did you start playing battle games or how did you start painting models? - Fantastic: When did you get into fantasy, yours first? WFRP: I didn't really start. My first successful encounter with RPG in the hammer world was when I got into battle games, Warhammer 40k and Warheim for good. However, it's not that RPG games were not close to me. On the contrary! These games were (and still are) dear to my heart. It started around the end of elementary school - one that got Dungeon and Dragons from the backyard. An adventure game ”- starter for the third edition of D&D. You had to go play - it turned out that the game needed a narrator - a master of the game - as in a good story, to dice - and so for the next 16 years I ran RPG sessions on a regular basis. Sometimes neglected in other systems. Hosting an RPG session is one of the things that I miss the most in the "serious" life of a few years - I would like to promise myself and a few thirty will get to this fragment of the text that I will do something about it. Figurine: In a fairly short time of entry - where in the first places, when the Gathering magic in the now defunct Katowice Bard, there for the Mordhiem show at a great place on the level - it was enough - and it was only during my studies that I met someone who got me into this hobby at well, this moment was the key. Flying brick..

Gdy ogłaszałem sierpniowy temat Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego to dla odmiany miałem już wybrany model. Spory model. I zajął on sporo czasu. Ale jest, moja wersja latajacej cegły, przez niektórych nazywany śmieciarką Storm Raven Gunship W mojej wersji zastapiłem załogę sargofagiem drednoughta - myślę, że wpiosuje się to idealnie w klimat mojej armii. Mam nadzieje, że się wam podoba :)

When I announced the August theme of the Figurine Blog Carnival, for a change, I had already selected the model. Big model. And it took a long time. But there is, my version of a flying brick, some call it a garbage truck Storm Raven Gunship In my version, I replaced the crew with a drednought sargophagus - I think it will fit perfectly into the atmosphere of my army.
