Gdy wybierałem temat na majowy Figurkowy Karnawał Blogowy, nie wiedziałem, że życie uderzy mnie z siłą rozpędzonej ciężarówki (a może to był Chevrolet Impala ‘67?). Mimo to, udało mi się dziś coś zaprezentować. Co prawda, zamiast szybkiego projektu, będzie to przygoda rozciągnięta w czasie, ale najważniejsze, że coś się dzieje. Przed Wami rekrutacja najbardziej supernaturalnej drużyny w Warheim FS (w mojej opinii): Kultu Purpurowej Dłoni.

When I was choosing the theme for the May Miniature Blog Carnival, I didn't know that life would hit me with the force of a speeding truck (or perhaps it was a '67 Chevrolet Impala?). Nevertheless, I managed to present something today. Although it's not a quick project, but rather an adventure stretched over time, the most important thing is that things are happening. Before you is the recruitment of the most supernatural warband in Warheim FS (in my opinion): the Cult of the Purple Hand.

Tak, okazuje się, że jak już zaczniesz malować demony, to nie ma odwrotu – trzeba iść za ciosem.

Yes, it turns out that once you start painting demons, there is no turning back – you have to follow through.

Ci, którzy śledzą grupę Warheima na Facebooku, pewnie widzieli konkurs na raport bitewny zorganizowany przez firmę Drukheim. Postanowiłem wziąć w nim udział – mój raport możecie przeczytać tutaj – i udało mi się zająć pierwsze miejsce! Dzięki temu otrzymałem 12 modeli z katalogu Vae Victis. Tzeentch tak chciał – demony wygrywają mi konkurs, więc nie pozostało nic innego, jak stworzyć kult.

Those who follow the Warheim group on Facebook probably saw the battle report contest organized by Drukheim. I decided to take part in it – you can read my report here – and I managed to take first place! Thanks to this, I received 12 models from the Vae Victis catalog. Tzeentch willed it – demons are winning me contests, so there was nothing left to do but start a cult.

Wybrałem poniższe modele, które dotarły już do mnie i wyglądają fenomenalnie. Nie byłbym sobą, gdybym nie zamierzał ich trochę pokonwertować, ale o tym napiszę następnym razem. Zdradzę tylko, że mam bardzo szalone plany wobec opętanego!

I chose the models below, which have already arrived and look phenomenal. I wouldn't be myself if I didn't intend to convert them a bit, but I'll write about that next time. I'll just reveal that I have some very crazy plans for the possessed one!

Witajcie w maju! Właśnie rozpoczyna się ten piękny miesiąc w roku. Pora więc na ogłoszenie tematu kolejnej odsłony naszej zacnej inicjatywy – Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego, której 141. edycję będę miał zaszczyt i wielką przyjemność poprowadzić.

Welcome to May! This beautiful month of the year is just beginning. It is time to announce the theme for the next edition of our noble initiative – the Miniature Blog Carnival, the 141st installment of which I will have the honor and great pleasure to host.

Temat Edycji / Edition Theme

Za oknem w końcu majóweczka, zapach grilla i – co najważniejsze – robi się na tyle ciepło, że wreszcie możemy (choćby na chwilę!) wyjść z naszych figurkowych piwnic, odejść od warsztatu i spędzić trochę czasu na łonie natury. Ale skoro już wrócimy z tego świeżego powietrza do pędzli, pomyślałem, że tym razem zrobimy temat, który mocno rezonuje z tym, co aktualnie dzieje się w sieci.

Outside, the May holidays are finally here, the smell of BBQ is in the air, and most importantly – it's getting warm enough that we can finally (at least for a moment!) leave our hobby basements, step away from the workbench, and spend some time in nature. But once we return from the fresh air to our brushes, I thought this time we’d tackle a theme that resonates strongly with what’s currently happening online.

Dlaczego? Bo czemu by nie! Ostatnio osobiście obserwuję ogromne poruszenie związane z jednym z nowych seriali o superbohaterach. Dochodzi tam do pewnego niezwykle wyczekiwanego reunion aktorów, którzy grali w serialu bliskim sercom wielu z nas. Przy okazji tworzy to w sieci nieskończone pokłady gifów, które atakują nas z każdej strony i budzą potężną dawkę nostalgii.

Why? Because why not! Lately, I’ve personally observed a lot of excitement surrounding one of the new superhero series. There's a certain, highly anticipated reunion of actors who played in a show close to many of our hearts. Along the way, it's generating endless amounts of GIFs attacking us from every corner and stirring up a massive dose of nostalgia.

Skoro więc popkultura żyje tym tematem, nasze małe bractwo figurkowe nie może zostać w tyle! Pobawmy się troszkę tym, co aktualnie grzeje Internet. Tematem 141. edycji FKB jest:

Since pop culture is buzzing with this topic, our little hobby brotherhood cannot lag behind! Let’s play a bit with what’s currently hot on the Internet. The theme of the 141st edition of FKB is:

SUPERNATURAL.

Jak zawsze w przypadku Karnawału – interpretacja jest całkowicie dowolna. Pokażcie, na co Was stać! Może ktoś z Was zdecyduje się na coś bezpośrednio związanego z serialowymi łowcami? Może macie w swoich szafach wstydu czekające na pomalowanie potwory, demony albo anioły? A może u kogoś na warsztacie od lat kurzy się kultowa, czarna Impala z 67 roku? Kto wie!

As always with the Carnival – the interpretation is completely free. Show us what you've got! Maybe some of you will choose something directly related to the TV show hunters? Maybe you have monsters, demons, or angels waiting in your piles of shame to be painted? Or maybe an iconic black '67 Impala has been gathering dust on someone's workbench for years? Who knows!

Niezależnie od tego, czy pójdziecie w stronę dosłownej adaptacji przygód braci Winchester, czy znajdziecie własną, luźną interpretację słowa „nadprzyrodzone” – czekam na Wasze prace z niecierpliwością.
