Wyly the killer squig - FKB ed 128

I doczekaliśmy końca niezwykle aktywnego miesiąca na tym blogu. Aktywnego, bo każdy miesiąc, w którym poza FKB pojawia się coś jeszcze, jest tu prawdziwym świętem aktywności. Ale przejdźmy do konkretów. Wysunięta szczęka, krzywy zgryz, kaprawe oczka i paskudny temperament – nie, to nie opis nieudanej randki z Tindera ani plakat wyborczy dla niesłyszących, to: Wyly the Killer Squig Pomysł ekscentryczny, żeby nie powiedzieć szalony, ale zrobiłem to. Przed Wami squig orka w całej okazałości. Przyznam, że nie zawsze jestem w stanie przewidzieć, do czego doprowadzą moje szalone konwersje. Tematem naszej kwietniowej zabawy były "Niewyjściowe Facjaty" i choć początkowo miałem zupełnie inny pomysł na to, co pomaluję, to Załoga Zielonoskórych Kaprów całkowicie zdominowała ten miesiąc swoimi uroczymi stworzeniami. Dzisiejszy wpis wieńczy tę serię i na jakiś czas wyczerpuje moje zasoby dla tej bandy. Kompletna seria squigów dla Kaprów składa się z: Mięsożerne małże - przywołane squigi Klasyczne czerwone pomidory Rekin squig oraz właśnie Wyly'ego Na dziś to już wszystko! Z ciekawością czekam na to, co przyniesie nam majowe FKB.

And so we've reached the end of an exceptionally active month on this blog. Active, because any month where something other than FKB appears is incredibly active here. But let's get down to business. An overbite, crooked teeth, beady eyes, and a nasty temper – no, this isn't a description of a disastrous Tinder date or a campaign poster for the hearing impaired, it's: Wyly the Killer Squig An eccentric idea, not to say crazy, but I did it. Behold, the ork squig before you. I must admit, I'm not always able to control what these mad conversions will bring. The theme of our April fun was "Unpresentable Faces," and although I initially had a completely different idea of what I would paint, the Crew of Greenskin Gitz completely dominated the month with their charming creatures. Today's post concludes the series and, for the time being, exhausts the reinforcements for this gang. Sea Creppers aka summoned snotlings

Przywołanemu snotlingowi nie zagląda się w muszle. Następny wpis na blogu który nie jest karnawałem. Muszę uważać bo jeszcze ktoś się przyzwyczai, że coś się tutaj dzieje.  Dziś przed wami powiedzmy Snotlingi. Raczej Snotlingi. Zdecydowanie konsekwentnie raczej Snotlingi. W każdym razie tak będą wyglądać moje przywoływane przez Kapitana Zielonoskórych Kaprów Snotlingi w trakcie rozgrywek Warheima. Modele to prawdziwe muszelki (które miały tez epizod bycia naszyjnikiem a potem bransoletką na kostkę) zmiksowane z bitsami tyranidów z warhammera 40k.  Malowanie tych stworków było szybkie i przyjemne a główną inspiracją były farby które akurat miałem na palecie przy okazji malowania miedzy innymi squigów które ostatnio pojawiły się na blogu.  Nie jest to też pierwszy raz kiedy wcielam do bandy snotlingi - modele które reprezentują "normalne" modele snotlingów możecie obejrzeć tutaj - wraz z ich historia i renowacją jakiej je poddałem.

You don't look into the shells of a summoned Snotling. Another blog post that is not a carnival. I have to be careful because someone else will get used to the fact that something is happening here. Today, let's say Snotlings. Snotlings, rather. Definitely, consistently, Snotlings. In any case, this is how my Snotlings summoned by the Captain of the Greenskin Privateers will look like during Warheim games. The models are real shells (which also had an episode of being a necklace and then an ankle bracelet) mixed with bits of Tyranids from Warhammer 40k. Painting these creatures was quick and pleasant and the main inspiration were the paints that I happened to have on my palette when painting, among other things, the Squigs that recently appeared on the blog. This isn't the first time I've included snotlings in my warband - you can see the models that represent "normal" snotling models here - along with their history and the renovation I've undergone on them.

Shark Squig!

To squig! To rekin! To rekin-squig! I tak to wpis na blogu który nie jest wpisem karnawałowym. Szok i niedowierzanie. Podczas przygotowań do ostatniego turnieju Warhiema potrzebowałem dodatkowych pomidorów do mojej Załogi Zielonoskórych Kaprów wpadłem na pomysł tej konwersji. Bazą jest wydruk zwykłego squiga, płetwa grzbietowa to bits tyranidów a reszta to greenstuff.  Malowanie było łatwe i przyjemne (Dzięki tutorialowi znalezionemu w sieci :P) a efekt końcowy jak dla mnie idealnie pasuje do moich kaprów.  Poprzednio zrobiłem Mięsożerne małże - przywołane squigi Klasyczne czerwone pomidory Wciąż czeka do malowania jeszcze jeden skonwertowany squig - nie będzie to rekin ale konwencja będzie podobna. Dajcie znać co myślicie

It's a squig! It's a shark! It's a shark-squig! And so this is a blog post that is not a carnival post. Shock and disbelief. While preparing for the last Warhiem tournament, I needed additional tomatoes for my Greenskin Privateer Crew, and I came up with the idea for this conversion. The base is a printout of a regular squig, the dorsal fin is tyranid bits and the rest is greenstuff. Painting was easy and fun (Thanks to a tutorial I found online :P) and the final effect fits my privateers perfectly. Previously I did Carnivorous clams - summoned squigs Classic red tomatoes Still waiting to be painted one more converted squig - it won't be a shark but the convention will be similar. Koniec miesiąca to czas na karnawał. Nikt ze stałych czytelników nie jest tym zaskoczony.  Tym razem temat Karnawału wyznaczył Potsiat na swoim blogu Gangs of Mordhiem a brzmi on: Żniwa, żniwiarze, dożynki Z tej okazji wybrałem się na zbiory. Zbiory grzybów! Pomalowałem nowe najemne ostrze dostępne dla zielonoskórych w Warhiem FS -  Grzybomantę. Pilnie śledzący Figurkowy Karnawał Blogowy mieli okazje zobaczyć już tego jegomościa w trakcie budowy miesiąc temu. Co myślicie o tym kitbashu?

The end of the month is carnival time. None of the regular readers is surprised by this. This time, the theme of Carnival was set by Potsiat on his blog Gangs of Mordhiem and it reads: Harvest, harvesters, harvest festivals On this occasion, I went to harvest. Mushroom harvest! I painted a new mercenary blade available to greenskins in Warhiem FS - Mushroommancer. The diligently following the Figurowy Blogowy Carnival saw this gentleman under construction a month ago. I did something at last...

Pod koniec lipca pokazałem modele nad którymi pracowałem - dziś wrzucam aktualizacje - dwa z trzech rozpoczętych tematów można uznać za gotowe.  Tak oto moi goblińscy piraci do Warheima dorobili sie dedykowanych niewolników a całość zielonoskórej cześć populacji nowego najemnego ostrza - czarnego orka do tego samego systemu.  Dajcie znać co myślicie? (i czy poza wpisami na karnawał ktokolwiek zagląda na blogi :P)

At the end of July, I showed the models I was working on - today I'm posting updates - two of the three started topics can be considered ready. That's how my goblin pirates for Warheim got dedicated slaves and the whole greenskin part of the population of a new mercenary blade - a black orc for the same system. Let me know what do you think? slowly getting the mojo back...

Koniec miesiąca to czas na wpis w ramach Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego (jakbym w ostatnim czasie wrzucał to coś innego...) Temat na ten miesiąc wyznaczony przez Wołka Zbożowego na blogu Nerdworkshop brzmi: Tanie dranie I jeśli idea FKB to motywowanie do hobbystycznych działań to ogłaszam w tym miesiącu pełne zwycięstwo. I to nawet bez pomalowanego do końca modelu. Już wyjaśniam. Od pewnego czasu dużo się u mnie dzieje w życiu i ciężko wykroić czas na hobby. Dodatkowo z początkiem roku rozpocząłem większy i trudniejszy (dla mnie) projekt modelarski, co chyba była najgorszym pomysłem na ten czas. W efekcie gdy znajdowałem już czas na hobby to raczej na granie w bitewniaki niż malowanie modeli. Całkowicie nie miałem nastroju na malowanie modeli. Nawet odczuwałem jakiś strach przed kontynuowaniem projektu który już czeka w podkładzie. Na szczęście FKB przybyło z pomocą - temat siadł idealnie - mogłem wrócić do mniej poważnej tematyki goblińskich piratów i ogólnie zielonoskórych do Warheima. Sklejenie tych modeli sprawiło mi tone frajdy - nie ma nic lepszego niż beztroskie siekanie modeli i zlepianie ich zgodnie ze swoją wizją. Co takiego ulepiłem i teraz maluje? Primo: Trzech typów w beczkach :D Czyli moją interpretację na K3 świeżo złapanych niewolników do moich piratów. Przejrzałem najgorsze zakątki hałdy wstydu niepomalowanych modeli aby znaleźć odpowiednich kandydatów. Gdy z pomocą biostripa pozbyłem się grubej warstwy farby z niektórych okazało się, że z jakiegoś powodu poprzedni właściciel tych modeli spiłował niektórym modelom twarze. (kimkolwiek jesteś - jeśli to czytasz - Dlaczego?) W każdym razie włożyłem delikwentów do beczek. Gdzieś moja szalona goblińska strona się aktywowała i do trzeciego modelu dodałem gobosa - przecież ktoś musi pchać tego krasnoluda w beczce w kierunku wroga Efekt przeszedł moje oczekiwania - mam nadzieje, że wam też się spodobają Secundo: Ostatnio zielonoskórzy otrzymali do warheima dwa nowe Najemne Ostrza. Pierwszym z nich jest Czarny Ork. Tak się złożyło, że w tym samym momencie pojawił się idealny model w linia Avatars of War. Tutaj nie ma konwersji (wiem nietypowo dla mnie) ale ten model bardzo mi się podoba Tercio: Drugim nowym najmita dostępnym dla zielonych jest Grzybowar, zwany też grzybomantą. O panie tutaj poczułem prawdziwą radość kitbash’u - może trochę popłynąłem? Pewnie tak ale cieszę się na malowanie tego modelu - co dawno nie miało miejsca. Dziś do upływu terminu została niecała godzina - wiem, że nie zdążę z malowaniem więc zostawiam was z garścią zdjęć przedstawiającą swoją przygodę z tanimi draniami w tej edycji FKB. Dajcie znać co myślicie.

The end of the month is the time for an entry as part of the Figurowy Blogowy Carnival (as if I've been posting something else recently...) The theme for this month set by Wołek Zbożowy on the Nerdworkshop blog is: Cheap bastards And if the idea of FKB is to motivate for hobby activities, then I declare a full victory this month. Even without a fully painted model. Let me explain. A lot has been going on in my life for some time now and it's hard to carve out time for my hobbies. In addition, at the beginning of the year I started a bigger and more difficult (for me) modeling project, which was probably the worst idea at that time. As a result, when I found time for a hobby, it was more like playing battle games than painting models. I wasn't in the mood to paint models at all. I even felt some fear of continuing the project that is already waiting in the primer. Fortunately, FKB came to the rescue - the topic sat perfectly - I could return to the less serious topic of goblin pirates and greenskins in general to Warheim. I had a lot of fun assembling these models - there is nothing better than carelessly chopping models and gluing them together according to your vision. What did I make and now paint? Primo: Three types in barrels :D So my interpretation on K3 of freshly captured slaves to my pirates. I scoured the worst corners of the shame heap of unpainted models to find suitable candidates. When I got rid of a thick layer of paint with the help of biostrip, it turned out that for some reason the previous owner of these models had filed some models' faces. (whoever you are - if you're reading this - why?) Anyway, I put the delinquents in the barrels. Somewhere my crazy goblin side activated and I added a gobo to the third model - after all, someone must be pushing this dwarf in a barrel towards the enemy The result exceeded my expectations - I hope you will like it too second: Recently, the greenskins received two new Mercenary Blades for warheim. The first is the Black Orc. It so happened that at the same moment the perfect model appeared in the Avatars of War line. There is no conversion here (unusual for me, I know) but I like this model very much third: The second new hire available to greens is the Mushroom Cooker, also known as the Mushroom Mancer. Oh ladies here I felt the real joy of kitbash - maybe I sailed a bit? Probably yes, but I'm happy to paint this model - which hasn't happened in a long time. Today, there is less than an hour left to the deadline - I know that I won't make it on time with painting, so I leave you with a handful of photos showing my adventure with cheap bastards in this edition of FKB.
