Prime Guard - Custodes Alpha Legion - FKB#77

For the Emperor!

The end of the month has come - it's time for the carnival entry. January mastermind is Pepe who announced the topic of our game on his blog "Fantasy w miniaturze": Camouflage This time the selection of models for the carnival was quite fun. The project I'm going to show today has been on my desk for some time. Work on it for various reasons took a long time and I completely did not know which models to choose to meet the carnival theme. I practically gave up, complaining that the topic was not set underneath me. Then it dawned on me that the obvious was ahead of me all the time - the project that absorbed me so much was perfect for this edition! My little brain just needed time to discover it :) Today I will see a complete army at 500 points of my Prime Guard - Alpha of the legion perfectly CAMOUFLAGE as Custodes Hope you guys are doing it :)

V Świąteczna Wymiana Figurkowa - Otrzymane i ofiarowane

1402 dzień w sieci / 1402 days in the web

a gift...

The Christmas Figurine Exchange is slowly coming to an end again, so it's time to show off what I got and what I gave to a friend blogger. Before you run to see the photos of the models, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that this year the CFE led Elmin from the blog Paint For The Paint God - and praise him for that, because after running the previous two I was fed up :) This year, having rediscovered the fun of keeping everything secret, I joyfully went to work. I received in a solid package from Viluir a perfectly painted captain model for my Iron Hands. You can read more about how this successful debut in our Christmas party was created here. Thanks again for a great addition to my collection. By a cosmic twist of fate, I also painted a model related to the Warhammer 40k universe to give it to Luca Lagao from the blog It couldn't be worse. The gift was well received and, as you can read here, it made the stay in quarantine pleasant. I am not prolonging, you can now watch the photos and get ready for the new year and new opportunities to participate in the monthly Figurine Blog Carnival, which I encourage you to do.

Nocnica / Nocturna FKB#75

1372 dzień w sieci / 1372 days in the web

a moth...

The end of the month, just before midnight, is a perfect time for an entry in the Figurine Blog Carnival :) Carnival is a monthly challenge to make miniatures on a given topic. This month topic was: Before the day comes.  I painted Nocturna - one of mystical Slavic deity from board game Stowrze. It was pleasure miniatures to paint.  Do you like it?

what a month...

Again, my entry for the Figurine Blog Carnival is extremely late. My only excuse is that I overestimated my throughput again and that I have been walking a lot lately. Back to the point: Viluir chose the topic for October: All that glitters is not gold. Pretty soon I decided to make golden boys for Warhammer 40k but with a little twist. Instead of creating classic Custodes, I decided to make Alpha Legionaries disguised as the Emperor's guard. I got to work. I decided to make a whole small army (7 models), but as it turned out, these conversions are much more time-consuming than I thought. The base for the model was Primaris Marine, Custodes bits and, of course, various bits from Chaos Space Marines. In addition, a lot of details made of green stuff. As a result, as of today, I have 3 models in a very initial state of painting and seven coasters buried. Well, it looks like the most golden time is when you are sometimes lacking.

Iron Hands Repulsor Executioner

1313 dzień w sieci / 1313 days in the web

New Boss in town...

Październik gruchnął w kalendarzu, a ja wciąż zalegam z wrześniowym wpisem w ramach Karnawału. Jakie macie o nim zdanie?

October started on the calendar and I am still behind with the September entry for the Carnival. So without hesitation, my answer on the topic: "car, leather and cellphone" - The biggest "car" I had to glue together. Iron Hands Repulsor Executioner Equipped with an absurd amount of weapons, this tank is not a very nice model to assemble. There are many opportunities to make mistakes that are hard to fix later. Games Workshop offers better thought-out models. And I still can't understand why this tank can fly. As always, I was tempted to make minor modifications, but this time it is more of a model valorization than its conversion. The painting took a long time, but in the end, it was fun. What do you think about this tank? What is your opinion about this model?

Figurkowy Karnwał Blogowy. Ed #72: Okaz zdrowia - Podsumowanie

1283 dzień w sieci / 1283 days in the web

Healthy lifestyle...

I ostatecznie ja zaprezentowałem kitbashowanego Konsyliarza Żelaznych Dłoni. Wszystkim uczestnikom dziękuję i życzę wiele zdrowia :) Co do wrześniowej edycji to wciąż puszukujemy wodzireja - więc kto pierwszy ten lepszy :D

Has become. We are just entering the last quarter of the year (closer and closer to the end of this unfortunate year). Time to sum up the August Carnival that I had the opportunity to host. This time I asked the blogosphere for entries in the topic: A specimen of health Let's see what healthy specimens appeared :) Potsiat from Gangs of Mordheim He presented us with really healthy mushrooms. QC from Danse Macabre showed us the story of how healthy lifestyle leads and showed us a very solid specimen of health in the form of Lavrack with mounted Lahmia. Wołek Zbożowy from NerdWorkshop presented the Slavic Baguni with its healing properties. Pepe published a Plague Doctor in Fantasy w Miniaturze that fits perfectly into the current climate. Wielebny Rafael of the blog Kaliber 28mm smuggled some disease and plague through his (un) healthy rats. Koyoth of Shadow Gray showed us a stately healthy otherwise Maggoth Lord. And finally, I presented the kitbash of the Iron Hands Apothecary. Thank you to all participants and I wish you good health :) As for the September edition, we are still the leader - so come first served: D
