Iron Brotherhood from Micro Art Studio aka Skitarii Vanguard - Part 1 - FKB ed. 133

Poprzedni wpis na tym blogu był w lipcu, więc naprawdę nie wypadało, abym nic nie przygotował na Figurkowy Karnawał Blogowy (FKB). We wrześniu Koyoth wybrał dla nas temat: Egzotyczność. Choć pierwotnie miałem inne plany, niestety brak czasu pokrzyżował mi je. Na szczęście wpadłem na modele, które same w sobie są dość egzotyczne. Ich sklejenie oraz wprowadzenie małych konwersji było w sam raz, aby w mocno ograniczonym czasie popchnąć projekt do przodu. Dziś przed wami: Iron Brotherhood produkcji Micro Art Studio Modele są metalowe, co dziś już samo w sobie jest egzotyczne. Producent już dawno przestał je produkować i wydaje mi się, że całkowicie zrezygnowali z tej linii. Armia, do której dołączą – Mechanicus, sama w sobie jest bardzo egzotyczna. Modele będą zapewne reprezentować jednostkę Skitarii Vanguard. Wygląda na to, że mimo niesprzyjających warunków udało mi się dołączyć do Karnawału! Co sądzicie o takim zamienniku figurek?

The previous post on this blog was in July, so I really couldn't let myself show up to the Figurkowy Karnawał Blogowy (FKB) without a submission. In September, Koyoth chose the theme for us: Exoticism. Although I originally had other plans, a lack of time unfortunately scuttled them. Luckily, I came across some models that are quite exotic in their own right. Gluing them together and making some small conversions was just right to push the project forward within a tight schedule. Today, I present to you: Iron Brotherhood by Micro Art Studio The models are metal, which in itself is exotic these days. The producer stopped making them ages ago, and I believe they've entirely discontinued the line. The army they'll be joining—the Mechanicus—is also very exotic. The models will likely be representing the Skitarii Vanguard unit. It looks like, despite the unfavorable conditions, I managed to join the Carnival! What do you think of this kind of miniature substitute?

Figurkowy Karnawał Blogowy ed #130 - "Grzech" - Podsumowanie

Korowód Grzeszników! Oto, miłościwi Państwo, przed oczyma waszymi rozpościera się korowód grzeszników, a wraz z nim marność nad marnościami, albowiem my, nędzni modelarze, czołgamy się w prochu i pyle tego ziemskiego padołu! Przybywajcie, tedy, by zważać na ich winy i może zaczerpnąć naukę ku własnemu zbawieniu, choć droga doń długa i ciernista. Grzechy Ciężkie i Ich Sprawcy: Jako pierwszy w orszaku zjawia się quidamcorvus, głosiciel litanii o siedmiu grzechach śmiertelnych, które trapią dusze modelarzy. Słuchajcie go pilnie, albowiem choć sam grzeszny, prawda z ust jego płynie! A za nim kroczy Boston Steel Works, dzierżąc dumnie swą Czaplę w Termosie. Wielkimć by to było grzechem, by taki kunszt w ukryciu pozostał i nie zagościł w naszym korowodzie! Krok dalej, Potsiat wiedzie stwora, jaszczura pełnego gniewu. Strzeżcie się, by na drodze tej grzesznej bestii nie stanąć, by was nie staranowała! Maniex wiedzie nasz orszak na Targ Próżności, gdzie grzech czyha na każdym kroku! Zważajcie na swe kroki, byście duszy swej na wieczne potępienie nie wydali! Koyoth zaś prowadzi już jednego z pokutujących grzeszników. Patrzcie nań i bierzcie przykład z jego cierpienia! Niech ból jego oczyści wasze serca i umysły! Elmin, pełen perfidii, ukazuje swą Magistrę, której grzechy są bezdenne niczym piekielna otchłań. Biada wam, jeśli jej powaby was skuszą! Na szarym końcu korowiska wlecze się Wodzierej tego miesiąca, oskarżony o grzech zaniedbania. Wystrzegajcie się jego bzechu, inaczej spotkać was może zasłużona kara! Nie są oni jeszcze godni dostąpić odkupienia, lecz i tak lepiej to, niźli nic nie pokazać, jak czynią ci, co w cieniu siedzą! Niechaj ta opowieść będzie dla was przestrogą i zachętą do pilnej pracy nad waszymi dziełami. A teraz, miłościwi Państwo, zważcie na słowa te: następna edycja tegoż Korowodu Grzeszników odbędzie się pod przewodnictwem Maniexa na jego blogu! Przygotujcie się tedy na nowe grzechy i nowe pokuty!

Procession of Sinners! Behold, my gracious Lords and Ladies, before your very eyes unfolds a procession of sinners, and with it, vanity of vanities, for we, the wretched modellers, crawl in the dust and grime of this earthly vale! Come forth, then, to witness their transgressions and draw a lesson for your own salvation, though the path to it be long and thorny. Grievous Sins and Their Perpetrators: First in this entourage appears quidamcorvus, a herald of the litany of the seven deadly sins that plague the souls of modellers. Listen to him intently, for though he himself is a sinner, truth flows from his lips! And behind him marches Boston Steel Works, proudly bearing his Chaplain in Terminator Armour. It would be a great sin indeed for such craftsmanship to remain hidden and not grace our procession! A step further, Potsiat leads a creature, a lizard full of wrath. Beware of standing in the path of this sinful beast, lest it trample you! Maniex guides our retinue to the Market of Vanity, where sin lurks at every turn! Mind your steps, lest you condemn your soul to eternal damnation! Koyoth, however, leads one of the penitent sinners. Look upon him and take example from his suffering! May his pain cleanse your hearts and minds! Elmin, full of perfidy, reveals his Magistra, whose sins are as bottomless as the pit of hell. Woe unto you if her allure tempts you! At the very end of the procession limps This Month's Leader, accused of the sin of omission. Beware of his sin, lest you too meet a deserved punishment! They are not yet worthy of redemption, but even this is better than showing nothing, as do those who sit in the shadows! May this tale be a warning to you and an encouragement to diligently work on your creations. And now, my gracious Lords and Ladies, heed these words: the next edition of this Procession of Sinners shall take place under the leadership of Maniex on his blog! Prepare yourselves, therefore, for new sins and new penances!

Belisarius Cawl - FKB ed 130

Koniec miesiąca - czas na grzech, tzn na karnawał ale tym razem o grzechu. Duże szanse aby zostać grzechem miesiąca (to też ciekawa tradycja do rozważenia) prawie zostało lenistwo. Jednak to co pokaże to bardziej  Grzech Zaniechania Bo okazuje się, że ten model który już zaraz przy okazji obfotografuje i pokaże, stoi już w gablocie 4 lata.  Więc naprawiając ten grzech dziś przed wami: Belisarius Cawl Sam Belisarius Cawl również ma na swoim koncie kilka "grzeszków". To postać niezwykle intrygująca i mam nadzieję, że wraz z rozwojem fabuły Warhammera 40,000 dowiemy się więcej o jego kontrowersyjnych projektach, które być może nigdy nie powinny ujrzeć światła dziennego Co do malowania to jak przy reszcie moich mechaników zdecydowałem się jasny schemat, myślę, że dobrze podkreśla groteskowość modeli tej frakcji.  A jak tam wasze grzeszki?

End of the month - time for sin, or rather carnival, but this time about sin. Laziness almost has a good chance of becoming the sin of the month (this is also an interesting tradition to consider). However, what I will show is more of a  Sin of Omission Because it turns out that this model, which I will photograph and show you right away, has been sitting in a display case for 4 years. So, to make up for this sin, today I present to you: Belisarius Cawl This gentleman also has some sins on his account. He is an intriguing character, and I hope that as the current history of Warhammer 40k develops, we will learn more about the projects that he should not have realised. As for the painting, as with the rest of my mechanics, I decided on a clear scheme, I think it emphasizes the grotesqueness of this faction's models well. And how are your sins?
